If you have a problem with me making an account for my seven-year-old sister, please don't bother me with it. There is nothing in the rules that says I can't do that or it's wasting space. And I've seen it done before by mothers. So why should it be any different if an older sister does it?

If you have a problem with my seven-year-old sister being a fan of South Park, don't even start. My mother and I screen the episodes to make sure that anything potentially bad will go over her head, and we've had plenty of talks with her about "bad words" and she knows better. And don't try and tell me that no good parent would allow their children to watch it... not only is my mom basically the best mom ever, but did you happen to see the South Park movie (which my sister has NOT seen)? Do you remember the whole point of the story? Well, if you don't, here it is: people seem to think that cussing and toilet humor is the worst thing ever, but violence, oh, that's just fine and dandy. Not that South Park doesn't have violence but people are usually more concerned about the language... anyways, as I said, we do screen the episodes ahead of time (I don't let her watch new episodes until I've watched them first) and if you have a problem with that, well, too bad.

If you have a problem with my seven-year-old sister liking "slash", oh man, COME ON. Unless you are some kind of crazy homophobe, don't you think it's actually a GOOD thing that she's so accepting this early on in her life? It's not like I intentionally tried to get her into it either - it just so happens there were a few times she was hanging out with me and I happened to have some slash lying around, maybe a deviantART window or something... and she didn't find it strange at all. She looks up to me a lot, and wants to be just like me, and well, if I like slash, gosh darn it, she's going to like slash!

If you don't believe that all this art is done by a seven-year-old girl, you are oh, so very wrong. We give her paper and markers and she draws pictures for me of characters I like, characters she likes... and I let her use my graphics tablet sometimes, too. And I am the one maintaining the account, so don't go, "Oh, but a seven-year-old wouldn't be able to get online and make a deviantART account and know how to upload things! That's impossible!" I don't want to hear it, you need to pay more attention.

I have updated this journal with more information because I don't want to deal with any more people coming along and leaving rude comments on my sister's front page. It doesn't need to have that trash on it. She is a seven-year-old girl, a real person with FEELINGS. And I know you may think it's okay to say rude things because I'm not going to tell her, but what if I did? She would be very hurt. Heck, it hurts me just reading things like that. The point I'm trying to make is, just don't do it. Be nice.
